Terms & Conditions

1. Ad Placement

The positioning of advertisements is at the discretion of the publisher unless a preferred position has been specifically contracted and paid for by the advertiser.

2. Advertising Materials

The advertiser is responsible for providing all advertising materials, including artwork and content, by the specified submission deadline.

The publisher shall not be responsible for any failure to publish advertisements due to the advertiser’s failure to submit the required materials on time. Payments collected will not be refunded in such cases.

3. Payment Terms

All payments must be made in favour of Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO).

Payment Options:

Option 1 – Full Payment

100% payment upon confirmation of advertisement placement.

Advertisers will receive a 5% discount.

Option 2 – Two-Part Payment

50% payment upon confirmation of advertisement placement.

Remaining 50% payable after publication.

Option 3 – Installment Payment

Minimum 25% payment upon confirmation of advertisement placement.

Remaining balance payable in installments over a period not exceeding six (6) months.

Guesthouses and travel agencies may request extended payment arrangements subject to approval.

4. Artwork

All artwork must be supplied by the advertiser in the required format and specifications provided by the publisher.

5. MATATO Member Discount

Members of MATATO are entitled to a 10% discount on all advertising rates.

6. Cancellation & Changes

Advertisements cannot be cancelled or modified after the official closing date for advertising submissions.

7. Terms of Sale

Invoices are payable as per the payment terms on the invoice

Late payments will incur interest at a rate of 1.5% per month on overdue balances.

8. Important Deadlines

Ad Confirmation Deadline: 31 March 2026

Material Submission Deadline: 10 April 2026

Official Launch: May 2026 at Arabian Travel Market

9. Agreement

By completing the advertising application form below, the advertiser confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms and Conditions for advertising on Maldives Finder published by Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators.
